Dear Friends,
The same day Blood Wedding closed (Oct 22), rehearsals for Atrocities
began. Since then I've undergone a quick metamorphosis from my metaphysical
"Moon-Death" to a woman who lost her brother during the war in
Chechnya. I have replaced Flamenco rhythms with Tchaikovsky's tunes, and to
everyone's disappointment, I remain fully clothed - again! Ironically, everyone
else strips! =) The play is disturbing. The best thing about it is the
notion of immense appreciation of life and blessings we sometimes take for
granted. Thank you for being there.
Love, Lejla.
Synopses: A hallucinatory journey into the hearts and minds of eight ordinary
men who committed unspeakable acts. Explore the frightening border-land
where civilization collapses and the monstrous within us emerges into the light.
