Frame captured from a scene in Liliana, Wendy's 508, 16mm b+w film. She printed this picture on a small glossy label .. and stuck it to the VHS tapes that she submitted as part of her 546 Directing "reel" (industry lingo) .. all 6 of them .. 1 tape for each prof.
Hopefully the label will help it stand out from the rest .. give the film a bit of intrigue. Profs will be watching *50* films (good lord) .. need something to keep them from all blending together. Does it make you wanna see the film? =)
She chose this shot cuz it shows motion & light, and, "film (she says) is about motion & light .. especially black & white film"
Artsy-looking. Dancing here in Bette Davis park in LA is Zarena .. (we call her The Great Zarena) .. looks like she's enjoying herself. =). Had the camera on doorway dolly .. going around her on a track. Pretty cool .. kinda makes you dizzy. =)
